When I got a little older and put on a few pounds, I started to have issues I did not have when I was younger and thinner. On hot days when I had to move about a lot I would become very uncomfortable and even chafe. It became worse and worse the more I moved and walked. I must say it was even painful at times and always ruined my day. The worst part was I thought this was the way it had to be, this is the cost of putting on a few extra pounds. Things just don’t have the room down there they need.
I bought powders and sprays, which all offered temporary relief, but none solved the problem. Then my wife had the opportunity for me to try a pair of Slix, an ultra high performance boxer brief. I checked out the site and there were all these skinny and muscular models showing off form fitting underwear. I didn’t think these were for me, but I agreed to try them. I really needed to try something new to fix my chafing issues fast as I had a trip coming up that required a great deal of walking in 90+ degree heat. This would be the perfect test for the Slix.
Well, I am not going to beat around the bush here: Slix changed my life. I never realized how important smartly ENGINEERED underwear was. The difference was instant and 100% effective. When wearing my Slix I have ZERO issues, regardless of how hot or how much I need to move about. I spent 4 days walking around Manhattan carrying a backpack and often a 45 pound exhausted 6 year old and I never had an issue. On the contrary it was almost a pleasure!
Slix are made of a few different materials that are designed to work with the part of your body they contact. The legs are a very lightweight Lycra type material and the pocket is a breathable mesh. The fabrics they chose allow maximum breathability. The cut of the underwear restricts movement and things stay exactly where they need to be. Once on, Slix feel amazing and completely supportive.
Slix solved an issue I had for a decade in one instant, no kidding. I think everybody should be wearing these, but ESPECIALLY guys who are having issues down there. Don’t be scared away by the muscular models on the site, I don’t know that there is a better choice of underwear for the thicker and squishier guys out there. Actually, if Slix knew how amazing this underwear was for average guys like me, they would market to us! I would offer myself for as a model…
Anyways, at $24 a pair they aren’t cheap, but I don’t think of these as underwear. I think of these as a critical part of my comfort and are required. Slix, you changed my life!
