My name is Karen, the founder, author, and editor of 3 Garnets & 2 Sapphires. This blog is named after all the gems in our little family . . . my husband Todd and I are the sapphires and our 3 January babies Jake, Makenzie, and Luke are the garnets.
I love to shop, dabble in graphic design, and macro photography. During those rare moments when I have a little free time, I like to experiment with easy recipes (with no more than 4 or 5 ingredients) and take on simple craft and sewing projects.
Oh, did I forget to mention that I am addicted to the Internet? I am proficient at multi-tasking and you will often find that at least one of the tasks I am juggling is usually something I am working on upon my trusty laptop.
