When I was little, my mother use to give me dried plums for treats. Those were very fond memories for me. I liked them so much that I don't think I believed my mother when she told me they were good for me. They just tasted too good. They were sweet, but not too sweet. Plus they were sticky and that made them seem even more like candy to me.

Regularity is most important for me, prunes are fantastic for that. My husband & I do have a joke about going "1 prune over the line" after we bought a bag of the orange flavored ones & I happily munched away on them, yikes!

The most important thing for me is Prunes are a great source of fiber, and this can help keep hunger pangs at bay. A diet rich in fiber can help promote fat loss if fiber foods replace fats and sweets. I am trying to lose weight and I did not know this.
