Silly Monkey Story: First Visit From the Tooth Fairy!

Since the owner of CatchACharacter.com sent me codes to try out his website years ago, I have been using it to insert images of Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy into my photos.  I was always able to erase any doubts the children had about whether these magical characters really existed or not.  Our oldest son turned 9 this year, so he is in the dangerous age where his logic and reasoning may see through my photographic skills.

His 6 year old brother lost his first tooth last week.  He was so excited about the Tooth Fairy coming to visit him for the first time.  We had hung his tooth fairy pillow out in the open where she was sure to see it (wink, wink), but when my husband, a.k.a. the Tooth Fairy, went into his room to switch the tooth for money, he found that our son had put the pillow on the other side of him near the wall in his bunk bed.  Luckily, our 6 year old sleeps in the lower bunk and my husband has long arms.  He was able to successfully retrieve the tooth and leave the money in its place.

The next morning, I showed this photo to our children to show them that the Tooth Fairy had stopped by the previous night.  Our 6 year old son had such a huge smile on his face when he saw this photo.  Our 9 year old son, however, started telling me that he thinks I doctored the photo.  I suppose his response was better than my husband's, who said that the Tooth Fairy in the photo was so attractive that he might start pulling his own teeth out.  (Sigh . . . )
