Well, the day finally came when I was ever so thankful for having purchased this insurance. I did not drop my phone or get it wet. What I did do was try to do a Windows update and my phone inexplicably went haywire. It just kept turning on and off on its own in an endless cycle. I tried everything and even lost all my contacts and photos by doing a hard reset. After going through the logical troubleshooting steps with the help of an AT&T customer service representative on the phone, they sent me a replacement phone. The replacement was a refurbished phone to use with my existing phone battery and charger. I was so relieved to have a working phone again. Who could have foreseen this happening? I guess that is what insurance is for, right?
