Review: Mobile Mum App for Preschoolers (iPhone, Android, and iPad)

Keeping kids entertained when you’re out and about can be difficult, but technology nowadays improves that greatly. Each of my kids has an iPod Touch, which they love and I love during times that I need them occupied. When Mobile Mum graciously offered me a free trial of their app for iPod and iPhone, I said yes immediately. Mobile Mum offers educational programming on their downloadable app for a small monthly subscription price. Their programming includes The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, Hopla, Sid the Science Kid, Busytown Mysteries, and more. All of the programming is good for children’s brains as well as good for mom’s sanity.

My four year old, Quinn, loves this app. It is simple for even the youngest kids to use because it only has 3 buttons to choose from: NEW NEW plays a new video, MORE MORE continues playing the same video, and AGAIN AGAIN replays the video just watched. Quinn loves watching his favorites and being exposed to new shows. I love that I can trust what’s playing and that he can use the app all by himself. For parents of toddlers or preschoolers, this app is a must-have.

You can get a free 30 day trial of Mobile Mum for your little one by visiting their website at www.mobilemum.com. They offer their app for online use, as well as the following mobile devices: Android, iPad, iPhone, and iPod. They offer games for kids on the iPad and are in development for other devices.

Thank you to Mobile Mum for providing a complimentary sample of this app for us to base this review upon.
