Stocking Stuffers 2010 Giveaway: Post-It Brand Greener Notes & More

Post-It is a brand that many, including myself, know and trust. What many do not know is its history. The Post-It Note was invented as a solution without a problem. Dr. Spencer Silver developed a unique, repositionable adhesive, but the 3M scientist didn’t know what to do with his discovery. Then, six years later, a colleague of Dr. Silver, Art Fry, remembered the light adhesive when he was daydreaming about a bookmark that would stay put in his church hymnal. The rest is history.

Today Post-It Brand has become one of the most well-known and beloved brands in the world and boasts more than 4,000 unique products and I was lucky enough to get to try out several of their newest creations.
The new and improved Post-It Flag +Highlighter is just that: a highlighter that also houses tiny “flags” for marking things on documents. It has a slim, contoured design, comfort rubber grip and it houses more ink than the first generation of its kind. It comes in pink, blue, and yellow and has a smooth writing quality and the flags are perfect for marking my daycare papers with where I need signatures.

Post-It Designer Notes are a fun and gorgeous twist on the traditional Post-It. You can choose your style and then coordinate your desk with their multiple sizes of Designer Notes. They hold stronger and longer than most sticky notes, so they are sure to stay put. I have loved using the square ones as lunch box notes for my sons and the magnetic-back rectangular ones are perfect for grocery and “To Do” lists.

Post-It Greener Notes are made from 100% recycled paper and plant-based adhesive plus they come from trees in forests that are well managed and trees are frequently replanted. These notes stick just as well and are the same high-quality as the original Post-It, but are much better for the environment; a feature I really like. They come in traditional canary yellow and pastel Post-Its. I have used mine to make reminder notes to myself, tell daycare parents bits of information, and more. Post-Its, as you know, have a million uses.

True to form, all of these Post-It products have met the standards I expect from the Post-It Brand, but have innovation that shows Post-It’s commitment to excellence. To see more Post-It Brand items and find out where to buy these products, visit their website Post-It.com .
