Living Green With Jerinda: Kiss My Face "Peace Soap"

I have been a fan of the brand, Kiss My Face, for years. We use many of their products in our home and have for a long time. I am also a huge fan of castile soap, and have been for a long time. It has so many uses from shampoo to laundry soap, it’s non-toxic, and it works great. So, when I was offered a chance to try Kiss My Face’s new Peace Soaps I jumped at the chance.

These eco-friendly soaps are made from organic olive oil with coconut, hemp, and jojoba oils. They have a fabulous lather, are biodegradable, vegan, and contain no SLS, parabens, phthalates, or artificial fragrances. They come in four fantastic scents: Grassy Mint, Pomegranate Acai (my personal favorite), Lavender Mandarin, and Lemongrass Clary Sage.

Of their many uses, so far I’ve used them in my laundry, to wash dishes, clean countertops, wash my dogs, as hand soap, and even tried them as a shampoo for myself and each time they’ve worked great and smelled wonderful, though it did dry my hair out a bit too much. As far as castile soaps go these are price comparably, worth the money, smell amazing, from a company you can trust, and best of all, they work.

Kiss My Face will be supporting the Seeds of Peace organization by donating 10% of their Peace Soap profits. Through September 15th of this year, for every 10,000 people who make the "Pledge for Peace", Kiss My Face will send one more child to the Seeds of Peace summer camp in 2011. This idea was inspired by castile soap's many uses for campers. To make a pledge, simply enter your email address on the Pledge for Peace website or click the Facebook "Like" button on the homepage. There is no limit to how many children Kiss My Face will send to summer camp next year.
