We opted for the meal that was most likely to be a winner with children, the Chicken Fingers Meal. It contains three chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, and a chocolate brownie for dessert.
Everything was going along so well. The children gobbled up the macaroni and were starting on their chicken fingers. Then I threw a few broccoli florets on each of their plates and it all went downhill from there for the twins. I am happy to report that our 6yr old ate the broccoli as well as his Banquet dinner. Next time, I'll try to fight the urge to put something green on the twins' plates unless my husband and I are geared up for battle.
From February through April of 2010, Banquet will be giving away over a million dollars in cash prizes. Look for the specially marked "Thanks a Million!" packages. These products each contain a game piece for prizes such as Banquet coupons or monetary prizes worth anywhere from $10 to $100,000. With products as low as $1 each, I think it is well-worth playing this instant win game, especially since my children have given their approval for at least one type of Banquet frozen dinner.
You can read the official rules at Banquet Thanks a Million! Instant-Win Game.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Banquet and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
