"Parenthood" is set up to succeed with some of my favorite television actors, such as Lauren Graham (from "Gilmore Girls") and Craig T. Nelson (of "Coach"). Throw executive producers Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Jason Katims into the mix and how could you go wrong? I personally prefer television comedies over dramas, but this show made me laugh enough that I will be tuning in on Tuesday nights.
This show incorporates all the ups and downs of being a parent in the storyline. The show starts with:
- Single moms
- Parents of teenagers
- Parents of a child diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome
- A family with a working mom and a stay-at-home dad
- A grandfather who favors tough love
- A woman who cannot wait to become a mother
- An unprepared man who is suddenly thrusted into fatherhood
Take a couple of minutes to watch this trailer, which I think gives an excellent sneak peak into life with the Bravermans . . .
The one hour long drama "Parenthood" premieres on Tuesday, March 2nd at 10pm EST on NBC. To learn more about this show and its cast, visit Parenthood on NBC and Parenthood on Facebook.
