Invention Dimension . . . A Competition for Young Inventors

In October 2009, BKFK (By Kids for Kids) began it's Invention Dimension Challenge. This competition, sponsored by Toys R Us and JAKKS Pacific, is calling for inventors ages 6 through 19 to develop new ideas for indoor and outdoor toys and games plus sporting equipment. Each child can submit one or more ideas in the hopes of winning a JAKKS Pacific Prize Pack worth $1000 plus a trip to the JAKKS Pacific headquarters. In addition to that, the winner will receive a $1000 gift card to Toys R Us and will have the opportunity to name a special inspirational teacher or mentor to receive $500 worth of JAKKS Pacific classroom supplies.

All U.S. entrants, including residents of Washington D.C., will need to submit their entries on BKFK.com by January 29th, 2010 12pm EST. Each idea will be judged on the following:

1) Originality of concept
2) Development and description of idea
3) Marketability
4) Potential for commercialization
