After about 3 weeks of rain, the children had been getting antsy being cooped up with no sunshine. So my dear husband decided to take them to Build-A-Bear so I could get some work done. I thought it was a great idea and I even had some Bear Bucks for them to use. I thought the kids could pick out some new clothes or accessories for the the animals they already had.
A couple of hours later, I get a call from my husband. The first thing out of his mouth is that he got bamboozled. Apparently, the kids were so excited to be at Build-A-Bear that he could not say no to them when they started picking out new furry friends to take home with them. Somehow, each child ended up picking out new clothes for their furry friends too. Ummm . . . can you say "wrapped around their little finger" three times?
Then he proceeded to tell me how he had to let Makenzie get the Hello Kitty because her face lit up when she saw it and she ran right over to it, picked it up, and gave it a big hug. Gee, I wonder why . . .
