Hip & Trendy Plus Size Fashions

As someone who was a size 1 in college, I never thought I would be shopping for womens plus size clothing. The thing that did me in was carrying twins. I've only recently come to terms with the fact that I am not longer going to fit into my size 7 jeans. I'm actually a size 9 on the bottom and would probably be wearing a size large on top if it weren't for my dreadful mid-section. If one more person asks me if we're expecting another one, I am going to cry.

So after 2 years of wearing t-shirts and yoga pants and only being able to squeeze into one pair of my existing jeans, I am ready to get back to being fashion-forward. My confidence definitely needs a boost. I never realized that it was so tough to find hip and trendy clothing in plus sizes. There are only a small handful of stores that sell styles that I actually like. I personally feel most comfortable in boxy hip-length tees, babydoll tops, and bubble style shirts like the one shown below . . .



It would look cute with a pair of jeans or capris. I need help camouflaging my post-twin belly and I just cannot believe that more stores do not carry the specific styles I previously mentioned. After all, I can't be the only one who has this problem, right?
