When the Family Review Network selected my household to test the new Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair, I thought to myself, "Boy, did they choose the right house for this!" Our family currently includes four cats and one elderly Beagle. The pet hair problem is so bad in our house that we have been known to burn out a vacuum in just a period of 6 short months.What I liked about the Pledge Fabric Sweeper . . .
1) It is very easy to use . . . easier than a lint brush. You just need to move the sweeper in a side-to-side motion.
2) There is hardly any loose pet hair. One of the rollers picks up the hair and the other collects the hair and puts it into the see-thru compartment.
3) The Fabric Sweeper even collects lint.
4) The best part is that you do not have to touch the pet hair like you do when you try to clean off a lint brush. When the pocket is full, you just dispose of the whole unit.5) Finally, I think it is a great value. One unit costs roughly $6 and does the equivalent work of 5 sticky lint rollers.
Suggestions for Pledge . . .
The only suggestion I have for this product is that, since the sweeper stops picking up hair when it is full, they could probably get away with making the pocket a little bit bigger to maximize the value for the consumer. I think it will still be considered compact and portable if they did.
Bottom line is that I highly recommend this item. I am going to buy one for my parents who have only one dog, but he sheds as much as three. Don't just take my word for it. Enter this giveaway for a chance to try one out for yourself or go out and pick one up anywhere Pledge products are sold.
