Many years ago, my father was required to undergo surgery for cataract removal from both of his eyes. The opthamologist explained that it was so severe that my father had almost no peripheral vision whatsoever. It was almost like he was constantly looking down a narrow hallway.
I cannot imagine going through life that way, but unfortunately many people do. Some people are worse off and are approaching blindness. Many of those people are elderly and do not have the insurance coverage or the funds to pay for cataract surgery. If you know someone who is in need of such treatment, he or she may be eligible for aid. I urge you to do a little research and find out how one can obtain free cataract surgery.
