Silly Monkey Stories: How Cute Is That Toddler in the Window?



This week's story is about my little girl monkey Makenzie. She is almost 19mos old and is a monkey through and through. She would actually try to scale a building if the opportunity presented itself.



Well, in the midst of the August heat, we now have to keep our living room windows shut most of the way. Can you guess why? . . . It's because Makenzie has figured out that she can climb up and sit on the windowsills. The last thing we need is for the screen to give and her tumbling out the window backwards and landing in the bushes below.


Aside from just looking at the usual . . . birds, squirrels, cars, etc . . . Makenzie likes to do this while perched on the windowsill:
