This seemingly complex question posed by Berleen is actually pretty simple to answer from my point of view. I say that zero does in fact exist because it is a quantity that describes:
- What 1 minus 1 equals
- My sense of direction
- What you have left when you eat the last potato chip out of the bowl
- The amount of cleaning I did around the house today
