I Finally Signed Up for PPP!

I thought long and hard before I signed up with PPP because I was not sold on the idea that I should get paid to blog. I established my blog to celebrate the good things in my life and to meet other bloggers from around the world. Once or twice a month, I throw in a plug for Sillymonkeez.com, but for the most part this is a personal blog.

I had seen promotional graphics on many blogs for PPP, but never looked into it until now. Why now? Well, the state of the economy is no secret. Although my little business has really started taking off during the past months, it is still very young. I feel quite a bit of pressure to find other sources of income so that I can continue to be a work-at-home mom. Money is so tight that we can barely afford to have my husband make the 60 mile commute to work he does 5 or 6 times per week. In fact, the money I will earn for merely discussing how I am trying to find various means to help make ends meet will pay for a third of a tank of gas. How can I afford not to join PPP?

"PPP" or "Paid Per Post" not only offers a program where advertisers pay you to blog about certain topics, but they also have a referral program. Bloggers can post buttons and even sign up forms right in their sidebars. You can also make money by inviting your blog visitors to review your blog post. There is also an option for advertisers to contact you directly.

What I love about PPP is that you can participate as little or as much as you choose. They encourage bloggers to be sincere and only to blog about topics that are of interest to them. Another great feature is that you can set a minimum price of what you will accept for payment per blog post. Also, PPP sends your earnings right to your Paypal account.
