Our 4yr old has a "Good Boy Jar" in which he gets to put a pompom for doing various things, such as being extra helpful and reading a new word.
Well today he finally filled his jar for the first time! Way to go, Jake!!! His prize was something he got to pick out himself when his jar was nearly full . . . a set of cars and a figure from his new obsession Speed Racer. It has been sitting on the stairs waiting for him for some time. I don't know who was more anxious for him to get it . . . Jake or my husband and I.
Anyways, we are so very proud of Jake for earning all those pompoms. I didn't count them, but there was a lot. Now his jar is empty waiting anxiously to be filled again.
