"In the Bag" by Karen & JakeFor our third installment of Project Yellow, my son chose his "bop bag" which is an inflatable teetering punching bag. It was quite a challenge to figure out how to photograph this item as something more than a mere phalic symbol. I decided to try a shot of it in front of a portrait of my son in his taekwon do uniform. I figured there has got to be at least a loose connection between a punching bag and martial arts, right? . . . . . .
