My Photos: First Days of Kindergarten and 3rd Grade


Last week, all three of our children started the 2012-13 school year.  Our 3rd grader started school on Wednesday, while our twin kindergartners had an hour of orientation on Wednesday and their first full day of school on Thursday.  Although I was more than excited to have all three children going to school full time for the first time ever, I was a little worried about how the twins would adjust to a new school and longer school days.  I was also worried that our 5-1/2 year old son would experience motion sickness on the school bus.  This was on top of the usual concerns about making friends, clicking with the teacher, and more.

Well, it turned out that I had nothing at all to worry about.  Everyone did just fine, seemed to like their teachers, and have started making new friends.  Our 8-1/2 year old found out that his teacher is a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo, which totally impressed him.  Here are some photos from their first few days of school . . .
