Finding Balance With Asperger's: Again Board Chalk Mat

Keeping children entertained in public is a difficult thing for many parents, but those of us who have children on the spectrum know that keeping these kids entertained is not just necessary, sometimes it’s vital. We have many different ways to keep Quinn busy in public, but creative things are always amazingly useful, so I was thrilled to try out the Again Board from Againbags. The Again Board is a flexible chalkboard mat that keeps kids’ hands and minds busy and focused and can truly entertain them for hours.

This product is unique, stylish and completely portable, making it great for keeping in the car or a bag so it’s always accessible. We’ve used ours in restaurants, at church, during doctor’s office waits, and more.

Quinn loves to write and draw on it and I like that it’s so easy to use and can be used again and again. My only wish is that the chalk was in a pocket that closed and held the chalk in, so it doesn’t come out so easily. I have chalk dust all over my purse from wayward chalk pieces and would love if it just stayed put in the mat’s pocket. Besides that, this mat is great and would be perfect for any child, whether on the spectrum or not, and would make a unique gift for any elementary-aged child.

The Again Board can be purchased at Againbags’ website, www.againbags.com. It retails for $19.95.  For a limited time, you can receive 20% off your entire purchase when you checkout with Code: Simple20.
