Kristi Yamaguchi's 2nd Children's Book . . . "It’s a Big World, Little Pig!"

In It’s a Big World, Little Pig! by Kristi Yamaguchi, author of the bestseller Dream Big, Little Pig!, is a fun little story about Poppy the pig who heads to Paris to compete in an ice skating competition where she meets a ton of new friends that may look different but, as Poppy learns, are the same as she is. Poppy learns through her experience that no dreams are too big!

Yamaguchi did a great job writing this cute story that lets children know their dreams are never too big to accomplish. It is simply but nicely written and brightly illustrated with fun pictures by Tim Bowers that any child would enjoy. My five year old son loved hearing Poppy’s story and meeting her friends. His favorite part was the last quote, “Even though we are from different parts of the big world, we all smile in the same language!” He was surprised that was true but really loved the idea.

Another plus to this book is that a portion of the proceeds benefit the Always Dream Foundation, which simply helps children fulfill their dreams. Such a simple yet complex thing to do. You can purchase It’s a Big World, Little Pig! at most major retailers, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It retails for $16.99.
