Silly Monkey Stories: Edaville Christmas Festival of Lights


Last Saturday, we were treated to a trip to Edaville USA to see the Christmas Festival of Lights by my mother-in-law.  In addition to having fun rides, this mini theme park also offers train rides, which are especially breathtaking after the sun sets because there are Christmas light displays everywhere.

The children also had a chance to take a photo with Santa Claus.  Our daughter was extremely shy and did not want to go near Santa at first, but he was able to put her at ease and she was sitting on his knee before she knew it.

We were only at Edaville for about 3 hours, but we were all exhausted.  We had a long drive home, so we stopped for dinner when we saw a sign for Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant.  The twins requested fruit slushies as usual . . .
