LeapFrog My Own Story Time Pad

LeapFrog is known for making great toys for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, so it’s a name that most people trust. We were sent a My Own Story Time Pad for my 4 year old, Quinn, to try out. The My Own Story Time Pad is unique because it has personalized play where it knows things about your child, like their name, and you can choose the stories and activities that will interest your child most. Kids can watch fun stories, listen to music, and even check for “messages” from people they know.

I personalized the Story Time Pad for Quinn before he tried it, so he wasn’t expecting it to know things about him. The first time he checked the “email” there was one from his brother, and he was delighted! He loves checking those messages most, but really loves the stories too. He has played for hours with his own personal tablet and will be playing with it for awhile.

I love this toy as well. I love seeing his face light up when he gets a new message from someone he knows, I love that it teaches him things about music and letters, and I really love that you can personalize the age of the child using it, so it will grow with him and then we can use it for the daycare children when he’s done. I love that it knows his name, is easy to re-program whenever I want, and that the interface is very user-friendly. My one and only criticism is that the cord for syncing is very short, but that’s more of an inconvenience than an issue. This toy is amazing and would make a great gift for any child up to kindergarten age in your life.

You can purchase this and all LeapFrog’s products at most major retailers nationwide, including online at, in white and in purple. This learning toy retails for approximately $29.99.

Thank you to LeapFrog for providing a complimentary product sample for us to base this review upon and for providing an additional product for our contest prize.

Good luck in the drawing!
