One year ago, this Lands' End Quilted Down Parka became one of my winter wardrobe staples. Because it is warm, hooded, water and wind resistant, and is in a neutral color, I would say I wore this coat far more frequently than any other outerwear in my closet (and I own quite a few).
When I purchase a coat, I expect it to last for many years. Since I take very good care of my outerwear, I feel I should be able to wear it for up to ten years, with the exception of a drastic weight change or a moth invasion. When the temperatures here dipped below 50 degrees this fall, my down parka was the first coat I grabbed. I was happy to find that it still looked great and was as warm as ever, even when I sat outside for nearly two hours for our son's soccer game.
Aside from the loss of a feather here and there, my down parka from Lands' End has held up wonderfully with zero signs of wear at the seams, lining, pockets, snaps, or zipper. I fully expect to be wearing this coat for many more years to come, something I have come to expect from all of my family's Lands' End outerwear pieces.
