Towards the end of the summer, the town dug up the courtyard in front of our townhouse to replace some water pipes. Well, this apparently disturbed all the ants that were living in that area because suddenly there were ants coming inside the house.
I may have mentioned before that our son Luke likes to ask questions. In fact, he could ask you questions about the same topic for 20 or 30 minutes if you let him. Since he is only 4-1/2, some of his questions make sense and some of them do not. I have no doubt that they made sense in his own head. Although it does drive me crazy to be on the receiving end of all these questions sometimes, it allows me to get a glimpse of what's going on in his mind.
So, to combat our ant problem, my husband put down ant traps in various places inside the house. He also sprayed around the perimeter of the house outside, including all the doors and windows. When Luke saw him doing this, he asked . . .
"What's that spray for? Is it to make the ants slip and fall down?"
