When we go grocery shopping, we usually do it as a family on the weekends. It is really one of the few things we get to do out of the house with everyone together regularly. Our routine has been for my husband to distract our three children while I go around and get everything we need for meals. It takes some concentration, especially when I do not have a long grocery list made.One day while we were at the supermarket, we were just about done shopping. My husband asked me if we needed anything else. I said to him in a low whisper, "Pads." Then all of a sudden, one of our children starts yelling, "I want Pez! I want Pez!!" Then all three children were yelling it. I could not decide whether I should clarify or just avoid the awkward conversation by buying them some Pez.
