Review: Leisure Jacket Water-Resistant Amazon Kindle Cover by M-Edge

I love to read, so when my husband bought me an Amazon Kindle for our anniversary in April, I was so excited to have it. I read 5-8 books a week, so my Kindle has gotten tons of use and will continue to be used for a very long while. I have a very nice case with a built in light that is my primary case, but when M-Edge offered the Leisure Jacket to review, I definitely wanted to try it as a secondary case. M-Edge offers a full line of Kindle accessories in addition to the Leisure Jacket.

The Leisure Jacket for Kindle is a case like none I’ve ever seen because it helps protect against water and other moisture. It features a clear vinyl protective screen for viewing, sturdy foam frame to securely hold it, zipper closure, and even has a back zippered pouch for accessories.

I have used this case at the pool, at a water park, and even in my bath so I could relax and read. It is by no means waterproof, for the record, but is water resistant. Because it zippers closed, water would seep in if it were dropped in water but it does a great job of protecting from splashing water or random droplets. I have loved knowing that my Kindle is protected from water by being able to enjoy reading in places I wouldn’t normally be able to.

You can buy this and all M-Edge’s Kindle accessories on their website, www.medgestore.com. This case is currently on sale for $19.99, regularly priced at $24.99.
