Letters To Karen: Revenge is Not the Key to More Sleep


Dear Karen,

I know it looked like you were going to get to sleep more than 6 hours last night, but it just was not meant to be.  You should know by now that you are destined to be tired and run-down.  The sooner you accept that, the better it will be for everyone.

I know you are thinking about taking revenge on those who woke you up 3 times over the course of one hour (long before you had to get up) for things that could have waited, but the satisfaction you'll get from waking them up multiple times tomorrow starting at 5am will only last a short amount of time.  In the long run, you will not get any more sleep as a result of these actions.
