Review: Boys Classic Muscle Iron Man Mark VI Costume

If your children are like mine, then they probably like to play dress-up almost on a daily basis.  That is why I do not mind having girls and boys Halloween costumes on hand all year round.  They truly take pretend play to the next level and really allow for my children's imaginations to take off.  Then when Halloween rolls around, our children can choose which costume they would like to wear trick-or-treating.

Last year, our now 4 year old son was a very cool race car driver for Halloween.  I had bought him that costume before I knew he wanted me to consider Iron Man costumes.  I was sad that he was a little disappointed, even though all the candy he received from trick-or-treating had helped him to forget being disappointed for a little while.  So when I saw this Boys Classic Muscle Iron Man Mark VI costume, I knew he would love to own one.  Our oldest son had a Power Rangers costume with muscles last year and he always wants to be like his big brother.

Needless to say, our 4 year old son was grinning ear to ear the whole time he was wearing this costume.  He smiled so much that I was surprised his face was not hurting him that day.  If it did, he did not complain about it.  He currently wears a size 4, so the costume for age 4 to 6 fit him with room to grow.  This costume should last him at least another year or maybe even two.  Aside from looking ultra-cool, there is one thing I want to point out about this costume.  The mask is semi-transparent.  If you look closely at the above photo on the right, you can see my son's face through the mask.  Thus conversely, my son can see his surroundings through the mask, which is much safer than relying on the view through just the two eye holes.
