Shrinky Dinks have been around for a very long time, and have entertained children and adults alike for many years. Shrinky Dinks have “one-upped” themselves with their new Shrinky Dinks in 3D, out this month. Shrinky Dinks in 3D are the same ones you know and love, but with the ability to make them 3-dimensional and stand on their own. We were sent the dinosaur themed set to try out and we loved them. I remember thinking they were magic as a kid, and I still think that today. Watching them shrink down in the oven is so amazing that both the kids and I were in awe.
Avery, my nine year old, and I were the ones who did the coloring and cutting because none of the littler kids had the patience or skills to do it. My youngest, age four, did help color for a minute, but didn’t like staying in the lines. Avery and I had fun coloring and cutting them out and then watching our creations shrink down. I even made Avery and Quinn ones with their names to use as necklaces.
