Review: Lands' End Kids Girl's Outfit for Spring 2011

Our daughter received a unique opportunity to choose a spring outfit all on her own from the Lands' End Kids Spring Collection.  I was quite surprised that she was able to make her decision about which outfit she wanted fairly easily.  She is only 4 years old and I sense that she is going to grow up to be quite the shopper.  (I have no idea where she gets that from.)

The pieces she chose for herself were the Lands' End Little Girls' Pleat Front T-Shirt and the Little Girls' Tiered Knit Skort.  We chose 4T for both pieces, which is her normal size.  The shirt fit her perfectly, but the skort was a little large.  We had to roll the waistband over and it was still falling down slightly.  I think she might grow into it by the time summertime rolls around.

Why our daughter chose this particular outfit for herself . . .

As a parent, I was very happy that our daughter chose a skort rather than a skirt.  It saves me the trouble of layering a skirt with bike shorts for her.  She is only 4 after all and is very active.  I am also extremely pleased with how well both pieces washed and dried.  I might have to put the skort in super-high heat in the dryer to see if I can shrink it just a tiny bit.
