Everyone here loves Sid the Science Kid, including myself. I think the cartoon is funny, entertaining, educational, and well written and the kids find Sid to be a very interesting and engaging character. We were recently sent Sid’s Sing Along to watch and review and the kids were all so excited to see a new Sid movie being pulled out of the envelope.In this 60-minute Sid DVD, Sid wonders what he can do on his day off from school, but when his friends come for a play date, they decide to put on a show in Sid’s backyard. They each take turns singing their favorite science songs for a happy audience of Mom, Dad, and Zeke. The kids really enjoyed singing along to their favorite songs and when asked what their favorite parts were, the answers varied from “Sid’s purple hair” to “The ‘I’m looking for my friends’ song”. From 18 months to five years old, all the kids in my daycare enjoyed watching this DVD together.
