Before the twins even came along, I had gotten into the habit of shopping sale events throughout the year to purchase clothing for our oldest son one size larger than he needs. I really have found this to be the smartest way to get the best prices on quality fashion-forward clothing. Not only does this habit save my family money, but I always have a stash of clothing for my children for those days when I wake up and realize that one of my children have yet again sprouted overnight. Since I have clothing ready for them, I am not scrambling to purchase clothing that will fit them, making myself a slave to whatever prices and styles are available to me at that time.
The Old Navy in-store Kids & Baby sale is one of my favorite events to shop. I always find the best prices on styles that are kid-approved at these sales. I have had great success in finding versatile tops for all three of my children for about $5 (and sometimes even less). My favorite part is that the clothing does not look, wash, or wear like I paid that little for each piece. That is one of the main reasons why I keep going back to Old Navy. I want my children to look good, whether they are going to school, attending a birthday party, going on a play date, or spending time at home (because you never know when the camera will come out at our house).
