We recently had a major nor'easter, which led to two snow days off from school. Although it was not the first snow we've had this winter, it was the first huge storm. The children were so excited to go out to play in it, but they had to wait until they got over the flu. Luckily, there was plenty of white stuff left when they did.The children really wanted to build a snowman, but the snow was just not sticky enough. They were more than happy to settle for a snowball fight instead. My husband took some great photos. Here is just a small sampling . . .
Somehow my husband managed to fashion a slide down one of the snowbanks. The children had a blast with that as well . . .
There were lots of great memories created that day . . .
