This particular
Tao Digital Photo Keychain is basic, but functional. It is lightweight and measures approximately 2-3/8" x 1-1/2". The accompanying stand makes it ideal for anyone who spends time at a desk.
This photo keychain comes packaged in an easy-to-wrap box. Included in the box are the keychain with a 1-1/2" color display, a coordinating stand, a USB cable, and instruction manual.
This product and the accompanying DPF Mate software is very user-friendly, so it can be used by almost anyone, even those who are not completely comfortable with technology. The USB cable is not only used for transferring photos to the keychain from your computer, but it also allows the keychain to recharge through your computer as well. The basic functions of the software include browsing, zooming, cropping, and downloading photos.
Although these keychains, which sell for just $9.99, can be personalized for an additional $5.99, I am not sure it would be worth the additional cost, especially if you are buying this for a child. The personalization is a thin piece of metal adhered to the back of the keychain. There is black residue around the edges. The engraving was not very clean and went right to the edges. Perhaps it would be better if you only requested one line of text rather than the allotted three lines? If you are worried about your child losing the keychain, there are name stickers that would be must less costly. Usually personalization is suppose to add perceived value to a gift, but I am not sure this one achieves that.
