Pepsi Refresh Project Grants Provide Funds for Inspired Ideas

One of the types of stories I seek out to share on my site are about companies who give back in some way, whether it's to the environment, to local communities within the United States, or to other countries around the globe. Today, on February 1st, you will be able to make a difference for some communities across this country. Let me tell you how . . .

This year, rather than spending an astronomical amount of money advertising Pepsi products during the Super Bowl, Pepsi has decided to creat the Pepsi Refresh Project in which the company will offer grants ranging between $5k to $250k to help fund inspired ideas people have to better their communities. The total funds allotted for this project surpass the $20 million mark. New grants will be award every month. You can make a difference by casting your vote for the ten ideas you think deserve this money the most. Although idea submissions for February are closed, you can still submit an idea about a worthy project to better your own community to be considered for March. The project categories are as follows:
  • Health
  • Arts & Culture
  • Food & Shelter
  • The Planet
  • Neighborhood
  • Education
Take a minute to watch this short video presented by Pepsi about the Pepsi Refresh Project. Then head over to to cast your vote for the top ideas for February!
