For Better or For Worse: Preparing the Twins for Preschool

We've always been a bit concerned because the twins, who were preemies, are behind where Jake was when he was their age. They do know a lot, such as their colors and some letters, but I would like them to be more prepared for preschool this fall. So my husband and I agreed that by the end of the summer, the twins should know their alphabet, their numbers, and perhaps write their names.

In order to do achieve these goals, we really need to watch for opportunities to sneak some learning in whenever we can. This afternoon, I heard my husband ask our daughter, "Makenzie, who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"

She gave the correct answer without hesitation. Ivy League here we come!!
