Take Your Pledge to "X the TXT"

With New Year's Eve coming up, one normally thinks about the dangers those who drink and drive pose. It has not been until recently that the general public has been worrisome about the dangers those who text and drive pose.

Although teens are certainly not the only ones who text and drive, The Allstate Foundation is asking parents to step up and ask their teens to take a pledge to not text and drive as part of the "X the TXT: Thumbs Up to the Safest Holiday Ever" campaign. For each pledge, Allstate will donate $1 to the National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS). This campaign will actually be going on a tour through 30 states where those who take the pledge and their families will be able to add their thumb print to an official "X the TXT" banner.

To make your pledge, simply visit X the TXT on Facebook and click on "Join". There you will also be able to sign a petition to tell Congress to X the TXT.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of The Allstate Foundation. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
