What the Easter Bunny Left

Monday, March 24, 2008

The kids had a lot of fun Easter morning. They combed through their enormous Easter baskets (click on the photo to see a larger more detailed version) and then we had an Easter egg hunt. Luke found the first egg (strictly beginner's luck). Jake was pretty good about giving the twins a chance to find some of the easy ones. I think they had more fun playing with the empty plastic eggs than playing with the contents. I put a little box of raisins and a wooden Melissa & Doug animal magnet inside each one.

Then we had Easter eggs for breakfast. Everyone enjoyed them except for Luke. I think he would have preferred an omelette.

(Oh, and I changed the photo of the kids at the bottom of the page.)

  1. Heather Said,

I love those buckets Karen! Did you make the art on them?
Looks like the Easter rabbit was good to your kids.

  2. Karen Said,

Yup, I did all of the painting. My husband drew out the Lightning McQueen in pencil for me though.
